I started practicing shamanism before I ever set foot in a graduate program. Thirty years later, I am trained across three distinct lineages — IFA, Core Shamanism, and the Western esoteric tradition — and I am also a Past Life Regressionist and Reiki Master. That is not a hobby. It is the foundation everything else is built on.

Academically, I am a doctoral candidate studying Psychology, Religion, and Consciousness. My research asks specific questions: how do people construct meaning? What happens psychologically during spiritual experience? Why do the same Jungian patterns show up in a boardroom and a ceremony? I also hold an MA in the same field, an MBA in Management, a PMP, a Master of Healthcare Practice, and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I’ve run operations, managed projects, and optimized processes in healthcare settings — not theoretically, but with timelines, budgets, and real consequences.

That combination is rare and it is deliberate. Most academics who study spirituality have never practiced it seriously. Most practitioners have never submitted their experience to rigorous inquiry. I have done both, for decades, and that is exactly what makes my writing and teaching different. When I write about shadow work in leadership, I am drawing on Jung, on direct ceremonial experience, and on years of managing people and systems. When I write about the psychology of meaning, I am not speculating — I am describing territory I have walked.
